But Erin A was (rock!)
Memorial for Katherine Olsen (the Ole who was Murdered last week) to be determined, probably in the form of a scholarship for Latino students. This is being set up in conjunction with her parents
Election Campaign Rules (political elections, not St. Olaf ones)
Candidates confined to lounges
No door-to-door campaigning
The Parties contest that this will limit their voter registration abilities
The Senate signed a Resolution in support of Democracy and an end to violence in Burma
Very similar to a resolution passed by Carleton a while ago
The Mario Brothers Costume won the Senate Costume contest
Council Recorder's Report
Erin added a contact link list to the blog, is there anything else she should add?
Yes, write out the email address
Check in with the Blog/Email
Kim wonders if we can make the entries for the minutes less prominent than the entries about events.
Erin Suggests making the events entries have larger/colorful fonts to distinguish them
Possibly summarize events, add a cut, attach a word document, etc. to make minutes shorter
Is anyone actually checking the email account?
Anna is! We've had like 1 email
Treasurer's Report
Haunted trail only cost $100 out of the $200 we were going to spend on it
However the Staff used $50 for their event
we still add $50 to our Money pillow! Yay!
Adjourn 10:31 (b/c we were freezing! The lounge is cold!)
